Mount Juliet Golf Club

The course at Mount Juliet is a Jack Nicklaus signature course, an 18 hole championship parkland course in beautiful surroundings. There are also additional facilities such as a driving range with covered bays, tuition, practice putting green and a chipping green. The course is a 20 minute drive from our hotel.

The Thomastown venue has hosted the Irish Open on several occasions between 1993 and 1995 and then Dubai Duty Free bought it back to Kilkenny in 2021 and again in 2022.

Gowran Golf Club

Located beside the Gowran Park Racecourse, this 18 hole golf course has been open since 2001. It is a picturesque parkland course with lakes and established woodland framing the course. Gowran is only a 15-20 minute drive from our hotel.

Kilkenny Golf Club

Kilkenny Golf Club was established in the late 1890’s and is now located at Glendine, not far from our hotel and Kilkenny City. It is a championship standard course set in over 100 acres of parkland with a par of 71. It is a good course for all year round due to the sand base. There is a golf shop as well as a bar in the clubhouse with catering facilities.

Castlecomer Golf Club

This Paul Ruddy designed golf course opened in 2003 and is set in the unique surroundings of a 200 year old forest. The course is located around 15 minutes drive from the hotel and offers very competitive rates.

This 18 hole parkland course is located only 12 miles from Kilkenny City and was established in 1929. It is a popular course for groups, societies and visitors.
