This is a lovely hotel in the middle of Kilkenny beside the Castle. The interior is bright and modern with lovely restaurants and bar. The breakfast was excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. If you stay at this hotel you won’t be disappointed.
A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Kilkenny
Stayed midweek. Lovely hotel. Great location. Very central. Fantastic bed. Great night’s sleep. Receptionist Jacinta was really helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Kilkenny.
Great service
My mother treated myself and my 2 sisters to a pre-Christmas weekend away. The Ormonde hotel was very clean, they are obviously very conscious of COVID-19 precautions. It’s in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the shops and the castle. The staff were lovely, especially Mags Foley who was very bubbly and checked up on us several times. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
Pre-Christmas Getaway
Very helpful and friendly staff. The hotel rooms were clean and tidy. Close to the town everything is within walking distance. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore Kilkenny. There’s a pool and leisure centre as well as a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel.
