Kilkenny Design Centre

The Kilkenny Design Centre is located minutes' walk from the KIlkenny Ormonde Hotel, opposite Kilkenny Castle in the heart of Kilkenny City centre. It is open 7 days a week and offers a selection of quality Irish and International clothes, crafts and household products. The studios of the Craft Yard and exhibitions at the National Craft Gallery are well worth a visit and are located immediately behind the Kilkenny Design Centre.  

 

MacDonagh Junction Shopping Centre

The shopping centre is located close to the city centre and only a ten minute walk from the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel. The centre is open seven days a week until 6pm and late on Thursday and Friday. There is a great selection of shops on offer, such as H&M, Next and TK Maxx. There are also a great selection of cafes and restaurants to choose from. MADE in Kilkenny Craft Trail

MADE in Kilkenny Craft Trail was set-up in 2009 and is responsible for promoting and encouraging the growth of the craft sector in Kilkenny. Kilkenny has a strong craft base, reflecting all the major crafts from ceramics, to jewellery, textiles to glass-blowing. Visitors to Kilkenny can visit the craft shops and learn more about each skill or purchase some unique, hand-crafted Irish products.
