We had our reception at the Ormonde Hotel in September 2011 and it was the most AMAZING day thanks to the wonderful staff! Elaine and Deirdre were so professional in dealing with us, their constant reassurance and kindness ensured that we felt totally relaxed and comfortable on our special day. From the ‘bridal breakfast’ that was so kindly accommodated, to the spectacularly decorated ballroom, to the most decadent of evening meals and the friendly, courteous manner in which each of our guests were treated the expertise at the Ormonde Hotel are boundless! A special mention has to go to JP and Steven who ensured that our guests were well looked after! The Ormonde Hotel has a very special place in our hearts and we cannot thank you enough for all you did for us!

To all the wonderful staff in the Ormonde Hotel, thank you for making our day so special. We received such a warm welcome and everything was absolutely perfect!! Special thanks to Deirdre who was so friendly, professional and organised! We couldn’t have picked a better hotel to have celebrated our special day.

I just wanted to take the time to pass on our thoughts on our weekend. From the moment we arrived at the hotel the level of service we received from every member of staff was absolutely faultless. Our guests were exceptionally well looked after when we were fully occupied taking pictures. Our meal was absolutely fantastic and so professionally orchestrated, we saw no difference in quality between our wedding tasting for four people and the reception meal for 100. We were so impressed by every member of staff we dealt with throughout the weekend, the friendliness and willingness to help was remarked upon by so many guests and marks the Ormonde out as unique. The meal that we had with our families the day after the wedding was beautiful. There was such a relaxed atmosphere that we really enjoyed and yet again your staff were very attentive and professional. Thank you so much for making our wedding reception a day that we will have fantastic memories of for the rest of our lives. I just want to thank you and the staff of the Ormonde for everything you did for myself and Trish from the start of planning to the big day. You made us feel so relaxed about everything which was the main reason why everyone had such a great day. The one comment that everyone made was how it was the most relaxed wedding they were ever at, which was due to your great planning and organising and the very pleasant manner of your staff. The food was unbelievable, people are still talking about it one month later. So thanks a million to yourself and Deirdre, Sinead who was such a help on the day and we were greeted by a nice chap at breakfast Tomaz. “Martina, thank you so much for all that you guys have done. Our big day was perfect from start to finish. Food was excellent and everyone said it. The room was beautiful, really everything was flawless and you Martina from the first day we met were so helpful and professional, I really can’t speak highly enough about you all. “Martina, just wanted to thank you for all your help organizing our wedding. Everything ran so smoothly from the minute we arrived at the hotel right to the very end. I really felt relaxed when we sat down for dinner because the room looked fabulous. The staff in the function room were excellent, very efficient and friendly and we thought the service really was top class. EVERYONE was commenting on the food the day after and I have to say it really was perfect. The Manager, Colin was also very helpful on the day. He was able to advise us when to start speeches, when to cut the cake etc, just little things that we didn’t have a clue about but he made sure everything ran perfectly! I couldn’t believe how relaxed both Will and myself were on the day and because of that we really, really enjoyed ourselves and had so much fun! I would most definitely 100% recommend the Ormonde Hotel for a wedding venue and really can’t thank you enough for all your help over the past year and for making our day so fabulous!!”
